Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 No Audio Input Device After Updates

May 22 7:29 PM14

I purchased my Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 15AMN8 laptop from Media Markt in June 2023 and until recently I did not have a serious problem. However, today around 17:00, after a series of consecutive updates, the computer suddenly stopped recognizing any audio input device and now shows no input device available. In the last three days, there have been three separate updates, and after the most recent one this “no audio input device” problem started. I find it both unsettling that such a basic function stopped working right after an update and also unreasonable that there are so many updates in such a short period, which in my opinion should not negatively affect core features like the microphone. My warranty period has expired and I do not have any expectation from Media Markt on this matter. My expectation from Lenovo is to send me a clear and understandable e‑mail explaining how I can fix this problem caused after the updates, and to offer an apology for the inconvenience caused by this situation.
