Ledger Wallet Security Concern After Funds Moved Without User Approval

I have used my Ledger Nano S for years because I believed it was secure. When I first bought the device in 2016–2017, I wrote down my 24-word recovery phrase on paper and stored it in a safe place known only to me. The device has always remained in my possession in a secure location, and I have never shared it with any third party. Most recently, on November 25, 2025, I activated my Ledger account and transferred approximately 25,000 USD worth of Decred (DCR) into it. However, on January 17, 2026, when I checked my balance, I saw that it had been reduced to zero. After reviewing the transaction history, I discovered that on December 2, 2025 at 11:03 PM, my entire balance was transferred to an unknown address without my knowledge or approval. After this, I contacted Ledger support. Because it was the weekend, I was told they would handle it during business hours, but so far no concrete solution has been provided. I am located in Malatya, Turkey, and I chose a cold wallet specifically because it was supposed to be “secure,” yet this incident has caused me a serious financial loss and a major loss of trust. I am requesting that Ledger thoroughly investigate this unauthorized transaction, clearly explain whether there was any security vulnerability, return my missing coins and compensate my approximately 25,000 USD loss, and provide me with an official written explanation.
