Rash Reaction From Using Kotex All Nighter Pads
My daughter and I have been loyal Kotex users for many years and I have always preferred the All Nighter pads. However, with the most recent pack of Kotex All Nighter pads that we bought from Pick n Pay about three weeks ago, we both experienced a very worrying reaction. On the second day of using pads from this pack, both my daughter and I developed severe itching, swelling and a rash in the intimate area. Because we both had the same reaction at the same time after starting this new pack, it is clear to us that the problem is with these pads. We did not change any other products or habits, which makes this even more concerning given how sensitive that area is. We tried to manage it at home by washing with Savlon and applying Vaseline, and my daughter also used baby bum cream, which gave her some partial relief but did not resolve the problem completely. At this point my daughter now needs to see a doctor because she has still not healed, and I am very worried about any possible longer‑term effects caused by this reaction. Unfortunately, I no longer have the outer plastic packaging, only two pads left in my bag, so I cannot provide a batch or lot number. I request that Kotex urgently investigate this specific product and production to understand what caused such a strong reaction, and that you take the necessary steps to improve or correct the product to prevent other women from going through this. In addition, I am asking for appropriate medical support or assistance with the medical costs for my daughter, who now has to see a doctor because of this issue. I look forward to a clear explanation and a responsible resolution from your side.
