I Missed My AJet VF4179 Flight from Kiwi.com Due to Last-Minute Email-Only Cancellation
I purchased a ticket on Kiwi.com for AJet flight VF4179, scheduled for July 21, 2025, departing from Şanlıurfa to Ankara at 09:50. Shockingly, the flight was canceled, and I was only informed via a single email sent at 5:55 AM that same morning. As I was already preparing for my trip at that time, I didn’t see the email. I only found out about the cancellation while waiting for the Havaş airport shuttle.
I serve in the military and was finally set to reunite with my wife and children after a long time apart. We had been eagerly preparing for this meeting, only to have our plans shattered without timely or adequate notification. This experience has caused significant emotional distress and wasted both my time and money.
I expect Kiwi.com and the airline to take full accountability and compensate me for the financial and emotional damage caused. Please investigate the poor communication and offer a fair resolution without further delay.
