You have until 48 hours before your trip is supposed to leave to cancel your flight with Kiwi.com. Refund options depend on the type of ticket you have:
When you book a new trip that costs more than €20, the Saver Ticket gives you €10 in Kiwi.com credit.
The Standard Ticket and the Flexi Ticket: The difference for the new reservation is due, but the rest is taken care of. For new bookings over €20, you could get €10 in Kiwi.com credit or 80% of the price of the car ticket back (Flexi Ticket).
• Health Problems:
Getting travel insurance is suggested in case you get sick while traveling. If you get sick and can't travel, your insurance company will pay for your costs.
• How to Cancel with Carriers:
You can also send a cancellation request to the carrier. The refund process is different, and if the carrier sends the refund to Kiwi.com, you can speed it up by letting Kiwi.com know.
• Cancellations or changes made by carriers:
If your airline cancels or changes your trip, the Kiwi.com Guarantee tells you how to get your money back:
With Guarantee: Unused parts will be fully refunded in Kiwi.com Credit or the original method of payment.
Without a Guarantee: Supported refund, asked carriers to help. It can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months to get a refund.
Carrier policies vary, and some offer vouchers while others don't offer refunds at all. Before you go, check their policy.
• Status of Refund:
If you handle the refund on Kiwi.com, log in to your account, open your trip, and click on Refunds and cancellations to see how things are going. You can ask the carriers directly for a refund if you'd rather.
Keep in mind that the information provided reflects the general process, but any alterations to Kiwi.com’s policies could influence the refund and cancelation processes.
