JustAnswer Recurring $65.00 Monthly Charge

I am writing regarding unexpected recurring charges from J3:JustAnswer.com/Help on my Chase Visa card and to request a refund and cancellation of any membership or subscription tied to my account. On March 3, 2026, I was charged $65.00 for what I understood to be a one-time tax question. At the time, I was told the charge for my question would only be $5.00, so I did not knowingly agree to a $65.00 fee or to any ongoing membership. Despite this, I have now been charged a second $65.00 on April 3, 2026, as a recurring monthly charge that I did not authorize or intend to sign up for. I am very disappointed by this experience, as I was led to believe I would pay only a small, one-time amount for a single tax question, not be enrolled into a recurring $65.00 monthly program. This does not match what I was told and does not feel fair or transparent. I kindly request a full refund of at least the second $65.00 charge dated April 3, 2026, and, if possible, a refund of the initial $65.00 charge from March 3, 2026 as well, since I only expected to pay for a one-time question and was told it would be $5.00. In addition, I ask that you immediately cancel any membership, subscription, or recurring billing on my account and confirm that no further charges will be made. I have already emailed your support team about this issue but have not yet received a response. I would prefer to resolve this directly with you rather than dispute the charges with my credit card company, and I ask that you process the refund and send written confirmation that my account has been fully canceled.
