Unauthorized Subscription Charge – Refund Request
I used the Jobseeker platform about a month ago only to create and download a CV and at that time I made a one‑time payment of 0.99 €. At that moment I did not knowingly accept any recurring subscription and I did not approve a monthly subscription payment. Despite this, on 22.09.2026 at 13:40 a transaction in the amount of 19.99 € (approximately 1,153 TRY) with the description “Jobseeker Tbtfo5eg” was made from my Yapı Kredi bank card ending with 4284, and this amount was charged to my account. I only realized that there was a subscription and that money had been withdrawn from my account when I later checked my bank transactions. On my bank statement, the transaction appears as “EPOS Jobseeker Tbtfo5eg 4284 2209”. I did not start any subscription with my free will and a subscription was created and money was withdrawn from my account without my being informed and without my explicit consent. As soon as I noticed the situation, I logged into my Jobseeker account, cancelled the subscription and on 22.09.2026 I received an email confirmation that my membership had been cancelled. I never had any intention of purchasing a recurring subscription and I did not knowingly, clearly and transparently approve this fee. For this reason, I request a full refund of the 19.99 € charged on 22.09.2026. In addition, I kindly ask you to confirm in writing that my subscription has been cancelled, that no further charges will be made from my account and that this process has been permanently terminated.
