JC Penny Lures You In With A Discount, Coupons Not Too Limited
I received a coupon via email after my first online order and decided to use it for an in-store purchase. However, when I tried to apply the coupon to my chosen item at the counter, I was told it was excluded. A little annoyed but ok, I picked three more items, hoping they would meet the requirements, but of course, they didn't! If you want to show good intentions, do it right. You can't just hand out coupons and expect customers to use them on a limited selection of items. This is not how it's done! They lure you in with a discount, then tell you you can't use it, but don't worry, pay the full price and the merchandise is yours. It's a blatant bait-and-switch tactic and incredibly misleading. I'm beyond frustrated with this shady practice. Either honor your discounts properly or don't offer them at all. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and downright infuriating.
