Instagram Blocked Me From Going Live Due to Follower Requirement
I got a notice on Instagram not so long ago that said, "Your account can no longer go live." The prerequisites have changed. "Public accounts can only go live if they have 1,000 or more followers." I can't start live videos anymore because of this, which has changed how I utilize the platform. I use Instagram a lot and responsibly, and going live was a great opportunity for me to engage with my followers. The sudden restriction, with no warning or other options, greatly surprised me. I know that platforms change over time, but these adjustments should take into account long-term users that obey the rules. I hope Instagram changes this policy or gives users like me other ways to use live features.
