I’m completely locked out of my own Instagram account because of an issue with two-factor authentication (2FA). I recently changed my password using my personal computer. My account already had 2FA enabled, and once I updated the password, it automatically logged me out on my phone.
Now when I try to log in again—either from the app or another device—I keep getting a message saying, “Waiting for approval on another device.” But here’s the problem: no approval notification is being sent to my computer or anywhere else. I have no way to verify or approve the login, and I’m stuck in an endless loop.
This is extremely frustrating, especially considering that I followed all the correct steps and used my trusted devices. I need urgent help from Instagram to bypass this faulty security step and restore access to my account. Please fix this issue immediately or provide an alternative method to verify my identity. Two-factor authentication is meant to protect us, not block us from our own accounts.
