I installed the InShot Android app and started a 7‑day free trial for the Pro Monthly subscription through the Google Play Store. Despite it being clearly advertised as a 7‑day free trial, I was charged immediately on February 9 for ₹249 instead of being able to use the trial period without payment. I canceled the subscription via Google Play after noticing the charge. I then contacted InShot support by email, but have not received any response yet. I also requested a refund from Google Play support; however, they replied that my purchase does not meet their refund policy and therefore refused the refund. Since the subscription was presented as a 7‑day free trial, I consider this immediate charge unfair.
