Innerly Charged Me For A Subscription That I Didn't Want

I downloaded the Innerly app from the Apple App Store and took an IQ test on August 21 for $0.99. I was not aware at any point that I was subscribing to a paid plan or starting a paid subscription. Despite this, my credit card was charged $39.99 on August 25 through Apple for Innerly. I am a cancer patient and my budget is very limited, so this unexpected $39.99 charge has created a real financial burden for me. When I tried to cancel any possible subscription, I kept being redirected to the wrong or unrelated websites and was unable to manage or stop the subscription properly, which was extremely frustrating. I kindly request that the $39.99 Innerly charge dated August 25 be fully refunded and that any related subscription, if it exists, be completely cancelled so that no further payments are taken from my account.
