If your Infinix touchscreen becomes unresponsive sometimes, here’s how to make it work reliably,
Restart the phone first;
• Hold Power button → Restart
• Temporary software glitches often resolve after reboot
Remove screen protector & case;
• Thick or low-quality protectors can block touch sensitivity
• Test the screen without them
Clean the screen;
• Use a dry microfiber cloth
• Remove oil, dust, or moisture
• Avoid using wet hands while operating
Check for software updates;
• Settings → System → Software Update
• Install latest version
Enable touch sensitivity (if available);
• Settings → Display
• Look for “Touch sensitivity” or “Glove mode”
Free up storage & RAM;
• Keep at least 2–3GB free space
• Close heavy background apps
Boot into Safe Mode;
• Hold Power button
• Tap & hold “Power Off” → Safe Mode
• If issue stops, uninstall recently installed apps
Run hardware test;
• Dial ##4636## (if supported)
• Or use built-in phone diagnostics
Factory reset (last step);
• Backup data first
• Reset device to rule out software issues
If the problem continues, it may be a faulty digitizer. Visit an authorized Infinix service center for inspection or screen replacement.
