Infinix mobile not charging at all after update, how can I resolve this?

If your Infinix phone is not charging at all after an update, here’s how to resolve it;

Check charger & cable first;

• Try a different cable and adapter
• Use original charger if possible
• Test with another wall socket
• Check if charging icon appears

Clean the charging port;

• Turn off phone
• Use a wooden toothpick to remove dust
• Do NOT use metal objects
• Try charging again

Force restart;

• Hold Power button for 10–15 seconds
• If frozen, hold Power + Volume Up

Check software update issues;

• Settings → Software Update
• Confirm update completed successfully
• If issue started immediately after update, it may be a firmware bug

Boot into Safe Mode;

• Hold Power button
• Tap & hold “Power Off” → Safe Mode
• Test charging

Drain & retry method;

• Let battery fully drain
• Charge while powered off for 30 minutes

Factory reset (if software-related);

• Backup data first
• Settings → System → Reset → Factory Reset

Visit service center;

• If still not charging, it may be:
– Charging IC damage
– Port failure
– Update-related firmware corruption
