IKEA Refuses to Pick Up My Damaged Coffee Table Despite Multiple Requests


We ordered a coffee table with order number 111510241503476, but when we unpacked it, we found the lower part broken. This falls under the defective product category, and I am filing a complaint about it. I sent photos via email and through the app, and domestic shipping was arranged for the return. However, they informed me that they do not accept furniture. We have been calling IKEA for two weeks to have this table picked up, but all we hear is that “a request has been created” or “an email has been sent,” yet no action has been taken. We are beyond frustrated and cannot remain calm about this situation anymore. IKEA should take back this damaged product just as they sent it to us. We are at the point where we will keep calling and complaining nonstop until this is resolved; we will not accept this outcome. We are left with a damaged product and no coffee table. We are openly saying that we regret ordering from IKEA. We do not want to hear about any more “requests being created”; we just want them to come and pick up this defective product and return it the way it arrived.
Since no response has been made yet, legal actions will be initiated. It's not actually about the table; I'm more upset because people are being ignored.
