IKEA Pax Wardrobe Arrived Damaged — No Follow-Up After Assembly Report


I purchased a Pax wardrobe along with assembly service from the IKEA online store under order number 112309257652496. When the assembly team arrived, they found that the products were damaged and filed an official report. This incident occurred on Tuesday, October 7, but since then, I haven’t received any follow-up communication from IKEA.
I contacted customer service to check on the situation, and they told me I would be called back shortly — yet no one has reached out. This was my first time shopping at IKEA, and encountering such a problem has left me deeply disappointed.
Because the wardrobe couldn’t be assembled, my belongings are piled up in my room, and I can’t even sleep there. My inconvenience continues, and no timeline for resolution has been provided. I feel that my situation has been handled carelessly and without urgency.
I request that this issue be resolved immediately and, as a gesture of goodwill for the trouble I’ve experienced, that IKEA provide me with a compensation gift card.
