IKEA Delivered Odensvik Order As Damaged

32

My encounter with IKEA Antalya has left me perplexed and frustrated. I decided to order a lavatory (odensvik - 501.955.52) online after seeing it on display but not in stock. Due to ongoing home renovations, I stored it with other items without immediately opening the package. When I finally opened the package nearly 50 days later, I was astounded to find the lavatory in pieces. Unfortunately, they were unable to accept my return because the 30-day return period had expired. Fortunately, I had a video of the package's unboxing that showed the damaged state. I believe that the 30-day return policy is unjust, especially for items like fixtures, furniture, tiles, and construction materials, which may not be opened right away. To make matters worse, the product's price had risen from around 1400 Turkish Lira to over 1900 Turkish Lira during this time. To rectify the situation, I urge IKEA to address this issue by providing a direct replacement of the same item.
