Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 Bluetooth Keyboard Not Responding
157

My Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6's Bluetooth magnetic keyboard is unresponsive as if it's completely dead. The lights don't turn on. I've tried the D F U method to no avail. I left it at the Kartal KVK service center, but they simply asked me to bring the tablet along next time without offering a solution. They didn't mention this requirement when I initially dropped it off. Anyway, that's beside the point. I've also come across similar issues on international forums. Do we really have to take the MatePad Pro 12.6 along with the tablet for warranty claims? They say they'll reset the tablet. Buying a Huawei device has turned into a nightmare.

They decided to replace the keyboard, but the process is stalled because the keyboard cannot be supplied, as far as I understand. How can part support end in 1.5 years? It's very strange. No one calls me to provide information. They are also not giving me back my intact tablet; they have taken it hostage. I am being patient.

They replaced my keyboard with an English keyboard. Here are my issues with the process: 1. To identify the problem with the keyboard, they needed to take the tablet along with it, but KVK didn't mention this at the beginning. I gave them just the keyboard, and that process was wasted. 2. KVK doesn't send messages or call at all. You have to constantly check their website yourself or keep going there. 3. There is a communication breakdown between Huawei and the service center. The service center makes a decision without Huawei knowing, and Huawei makes a decision without the service center knowing. You are left in the dark. They say they couldn't reach you, and the process stalls, so you have to keep following up. Sending an SMS or making a call isn't that hard. 4. After identifying the problem with the keyboard, they don't return the tablet. They hold the tablet hostage until the new keyboard arrives. If I may say so, I had to forcibly take my tablet back. When the keyboard arrived later, I had to go and pick it up separately. I'm not exaggerating; I went at least five times in total. 5. And the biggest problem is that Huawei doesn't stock parts for a product they sold a year and a half ago in Turkey. They don't provide part support. Since I also use it as a stand + case, I accepted the offered English keyboard to at least get a working product, but now my keyboard is in English. If I switch to Turkish, pressing the period key gives me 'ç', and pressing the parenthesis key gives me 'ş'. Why am I using an English keyboard? If you say I shouldn't have accepted it, I would say at least now I have a stand, a case, and a working product.
