I have been using my Huawei FreeClip headset for about 1–1.5 years in a completely normal and careful way. Despite this, a clear deformation and tear has occurred in the plastic part in the C-column section of the earphone. The product has never been dropped, exposed to impact or subjected to any forceful situation; this problem occurred entirely during daily use. I think that the raw plastic material used in the C-column is faulty and that there is also a design issue. I observe that the part where the battery is located puts pressure on the plastic section, which causes a tear in this area. For this reason, I consider the problem I am experiencing to be caused by material and design defects rather than user error. Following this situation, I contacted Huawei authorized service / customer service while my product was still under warranty. However, before I could fully explain the problem and without any detailed examination, I was told on 29.04.2026 that they could only offer a paid repair, and I was given a repair fee of ₺9,030. The fact that my product is still within the warranty period and that a paid repair was directly proposed without any concrete finding of user fault has disturbed me. I purchased the product from the Huawei Online Store about 1–1.5 years ago for approximately ₺7,500 and my device is currently at the authorized service. I see the fact that the product has reached this condition under normal use as a problem stemming from production, material and design, and I request that Huawei repair this fault free of charge within the ongoing warranty period. I kindly request that my product be repaired under warranty, without any cost being charged to me, and that any process and examination regarding user fault be carried out transparently and in writing.

I sent an email to all Huawei's Asian and European factories and will let you know when I get a response. I also wrote to the Consumer Arbitration Board; I think everyone should write about the situation.
