2021 Honda Civic USB Port Not Charging Phone

I connect a 3-headed charger to my 2021 Honda Civic eco Elegance's USB port, but it doesn't charge my phone. The screen constantly shows it's not due to safety reasons and can't pair. What could be causing this? I asked someone at the service center, and they questioned if the adapter was original. Does everything need to be original? I can charge my phone with a Xiaomi charger in the car, but not these adapters. Please assist.
