Homebase Delivered Wrong Wardrobe and Blames Supplier Leaving Me Stuck

Expecting it to arrive on the specified delivery date, I paid around £400 for a wardrobe from Homebase. I called customer care when it didn't show up and they advised of a delay. The wardrobe arrived at last after an additional week, only for me to find it was the wrong wrong colour and size, and absolutely inappropriate for my area. Worse, Homebase revealed that the product came from a third-party supplier, thus they were waiting for a reply before they could fix anything. I now have a wardrobe I did not order, and daily contacts to customer service yield nowhere. I never imagined purchasing furniture from Homebase would cause this much trouble, and should the problem not be remedied, I will be consulting on Consumer Rights.
