Goodyear Performance 2 Tires Caused Severe Traction Loss and Poor Braking Distance

I purchased a set of Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 tires (size 205/55 R16) for my Volkswagen Jetta, paying a premium over competing brands based on strong test results. However, ever since installing these tires, driving my vehicle has been a terrifying experience.

In less than two years, I have encountered severe issues with skidding and extended stopping distances. The car frequently loses traction, fails to provide stability during routine or sudden braking, and triggers the ABS and ESP systems almost constantly while driving. This puts both my life and the safety of others on the road at grave risk.

Although I have not yet held formal discussions with an authorized service center or customer support, my driving experience has reached a point where replacing these tires is an absolute necessity. Because safety is far more important than money, I refuse to continue driving on these compromised tires.

I demand that Goodyear inspect these tires for safety concerns, run all necessary performance tests, address my grievance, and replace the set free of charge if necessary.
