I Suspect GoDaddy Is Tracking and Reselling Domain Searches I Make

50

Dear GoDaddy Support Team,

I’m writing to express serious concerns about the domain name search and purchase process on your platform. After extensive use, I’ve noticed a recurring and deeply troubling pattern: domain names that I personally search for—whether through your search bar or while exploring availability—are suddenly purchased by third parties or brokers, sometimes within a day. This raises alarming suspicions about unauthorized data tracking or surveillance of customer search behavior.

Additionally, there have been instances where I attempted to purchase a domain, completed the process, and later received a cancellation notice due to "payment issues"—despite no actual problem on my end. This appears to be more than just a technical issue. The fact that similar complaints are widely reported by other customers in GoDaddy’s Turkey branch reinforces my concern that this is not an isolated case.

I demand a formal and transparent explanation regarding these practices. If this issue is not clarified and resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to initiate legal proceedings. This is a matter of trust, and right now, that trust is severely damaged.
