GoDaddy Turkey Renewal Fee Shock: $107 USD for Domain + Email
I was using website, domain, and corporate email services through GoDaddy. At registration I was told that I would only pay for the domain and email — there would be no extra fee for the website. But today, when I attempted renewal, I was confronted with a very high fee of approximately $107.
When I contacted customer service, I was not presented with a reasonable solution and the answers I received were unsatisfactory. While I was told I would only pay for domain and email services, the charge now demanding payment for the website as well is both unfair and misleading. Frustrated, I asked for my site to be shut down, and now a year’s work has gone to waste.
My customer number is 5799***99. I have never faced such a problem before. I could have invested the $107 into a professionally built site, yet I’m being asked for this high fee — I do not accept this. I expect the old pricing to apply and my dissatisfaction to be addressed.
