Gmail Account Hacked - Recovery Email Changed
I am writing about a serious security problem with my Gmail account, which I was mainly using on an Android device. On 22 February, my Gmail account was hacked. The attacker added their own recovery email and later also gained control over the recovery mail. As a result, I have now completely lost access to my original Gmail account and cannot log in at all. This Gmail account is less than three years old and I am using it from Pakistan. I have already tried to recover the account via Google’s recovery process and support steps, but I was unsuccessful and in the end I had to open a new Gmail account. Despite following the available options, I still cannot remove the hacker’s recovery email or regain control of my old account. I can prove that I am the real owner of the hacked account. I have top‑up and payment records linked to this Gmail, as well as email and recovery information that show the account belonged to me before it was compromised. I am ready to share these records and any other verification details that may help your security team confirm my ownership. I request that you urgently review the security and ownership of my hacked Gmail account, remove the hacker’s recovery email, and help me regain access to my original account based on the proofs I can provide. I also ask you to protect my data associated with this account and give me a clear response about the result of your investigation.
