GeoZilla won’t update my device location, how can I get it to refresh properly?

If GeoZilla isn’t updating your device location, first check that Location Services are set to “Always” (not “While Using”) and that Background App Refresh is enabled, since the app won’t refresh reliably without continuous permission.

Also disable battery saver or low power mode, as these often pause background GPS updates on both iOS and Android.

Make sure mobile data or Wi-Fi is stable and that precise location is turned on, then fully close and reopen the app or restart the device to reset GPS services.

If it still doesn’t refresh, consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to seek a resolution.
