I Face Unauthorized Subscription Charge from Geofinder App After Misleading Offer
I recently received a promotional message from the Geofinder app claiming to provide a special offer. However, at the very bottom of the message, written in tiny, barely visible text, it stated that unless I canceled within 24 hours, my account would be automatically enrolled in a recurring subscription of $49.99 per month. This was never made clear in the main message, and it feels like a deceptive practice intended to mislead users.
I never approved or initiated any subscription request. I did not enter into any binding contract, nor did I knowingly authorize recurring charges. On top of that, there is no clear information on how to cancel this so-called subscription, leaving me completely stuck with charges I never agreed to.
I demand the immediate cancellation of this unauthorized subscription and confirmation that no further amounts will be withdrawn from my account. Additionally, I request a refund of any unauthorized charges already made. If Geofinder does not resolve this promptly, I will report the issue to consumer protection agencies for fraudulent subscription practices.
