I Am Frustrated That Gemini AI Ignored My Apple MacBook Screenshot
Today around 1:00 PM, while using the Gemini mobile app, I asked a question about devices. When I asked, "I'm going to have my parents buy me a Macbook Neo when I go into 7th or 8th grade, is that a good choice?", the app replied saying, "Apple doesn't have a product like that." I then shared a screenshot showing an Apple 13" Macbook Neo model, yet it stubbornly continued to say that it might be a Macbook Air.
The fact that it ignored this information and insisted on being wrong, even though the image I sent clearly said "Macbook Neo," both surprised and disappointed me. I find it unacceptable that an artificial intelligence I use to get information about technology gives incorrect answers on such a basic topic and completely ignores user feedback.
I am using my account connected to the email address n**************@gmail.com for Gemini. I want you to take my feedback seriously on this matter, and be more knowledgeable and careful, especially regarding product names and current models. I expect you to improve the system so that it takes accurate information from the user into account, and to make the necessary adjustments to prevent similar situations from happening again.
