I would like to report a very serious issue I experienced while using Google’s Gemini AI assistant. About 5–6 days ago, I asked Gemini for information about hair removal creams and specifically whether Bioder hair removal cream could be safely used in the genital area. The assistant clearly told me that the product could be safely used in that area, which was incorrect and misleading.
Relying on this information, I purchased the product from Amazon for approximately $7. However, when the product arrived, I saw a clear warning on the packaging stating: “Do not use on the genital area.” If I had not noticed this warning, I could have suffered serious chemical burns and long-term health issues.
This situation caused both financial loss and placed my health at serious risk, which is extremely concerning and upsetting. A few days ago, I reported this issue in detail through Google’s “Send feedback” feature, but I have not received any response.
I find it completely unacceptable that an AI assistant provides incorrect and potentially dangerous guidance on a matter involving personal health and safety. I request that Google take this serious error into account, compensate me for my financial loss, including the cost of the product, and take the necessary steps to initiate a compensation process due to the risk and harm caused.
