Gemini Pro Burns Through Credits on Videos That Never Generate

I signed up for a monthly Gemini Pro subscription, with my main goal being to generate images and videos based on the instructions I gave. But ever since I started using the system, it's been producing images and videos that are loosely related at best to my instructions, and often completely unrelated. Even when I say "I don't like this video" and revise my instructions during video generation, the system still produces nearly the same video and says "video ready," deducting credits from my account each time regardless. In some cases, I see the "video ready" message, but there's no video anywhere — yet the credit still gets used up. In normal conversations too, instead of giving clear answers to my questions, it goes off on its own commentary and suggestions, drifting away from what I actually asked. All of this gives the impression that the system is designed this way and doesn't offer a predictable, consistent experience for users. My goal here isn't to request a refund of fees or credits — I just want to point out that I'm not the only one experiencing these issues, that the system has structural problems, and that people should be aware of this.
