My Honda Civic Garmin Navigation Lifetime Map Updates Stopped

My 2021 Honda Civic FC5 Elegance came factory-equipped with Garmin navigation, and it was explicitly stated at the time of purchase that the vehicle included lifetime map updates. Despite this promise, the system still displays 2024 maps, and no newer map updates are being released.

When I visited the Honda service center in Ankara, they informed me that they could not update the navigation because Garmin had not released any new updates. As a result, I cannot use the in-car navigation reliably, as it provides inaccurate directions and takes me on unnecessary detours. We received our last update in 2024, and since no new updates have been made available since then, we even attempted to update it ourselves through the Garmin application.

I demand that the commitment for lifetime map updates be fulfilled, that the necessary coordination between Garmin and Honda be established to update my vehicle's navigation maps to the latest version free of charge, and that I be provided with a clear explanation regarding this process.
