GamerMarkt Refused to Refund My Reclaimed Valorant Account

1

On December 20, 2024, I purchased a Valorant account through the GamerMarkt website under order number 930952 for approximately $95. After the purchase, I logged into the account using the username and password provided by the seller and successfully verified it with my own email address. However, before I was even able to use the account for a full day, the seller recovered the account, and I permanently lost access to it.

As soon as the account was reclaimed, I contacted GamerMarkt Customer Support. I was informed that they had contacted the seller, but the seller refused to cooperate with GamerMarkt. I was then told that they could not issue a refund and that the matter would instead be resolved through legal proceedings. For nearly two years, I have contacted GamerMarkt repeatedly—at least ten times—yet every time I receive the same response: that the legal process is still ongoing and that they are unable to take any further action.

This case involves a clearly documented transaction completed through GamerMarkt's own platform. I paid for the product, lost access to it because the seller reclaimed the account, and have never received either the account back or a refund. Despite this, GamerMarkt continues to shift the consequences of its inadequate seller oversight onto me. Rather than providing a concrete solution, the company appears to protect the seller while repeatedly instructing me to continue waiting for the legal process to conclude.

I request that GamerMarkt either restore permanent and secure access to the Valorant account I purchased or issue a full refund of approximately $95 without any further delay. I also ask that my case be reviewed again as a priority, taking into account the significant inconvenience and financial loss I have experienced, and that I receive a clear and definitive resolution instead of another generic response stating only that the legal process is ongoing.
