I brought a Freestyle LibreLink 2 sensor from France to Turkey and encountered a major problem upon applying and trying to scan the sensor. I received the error message: “Incompatible version – this sensor can’t be used with this version of the app.”
This issue is incredibly disappointing, especially considering the cost and importance of this medical device. I am using a compatible smartphone, and everything was set up correctly according to the instructions.
It is unacceptable that there is no clear warning about regional or version-based restrictions. I urgently need support to either make this sensor work in Turkey or get instructions on how to resolve this compatibility issue. This needs immediate attention.
