I Experienced a Dangerous Breakdown on FlixBus
On September 27, 2025, on the Karabük–Ankara route, I experienced a serious grievance on the Kamil Koç (flixbus) bus departing at 00:30. My PNR number is 3291423976. At the beginning of the journey, the bus broke down and smoke started coming out of it. In the middle of the night, we had to wait for hours in the dark on the side of the highway. For our safety, not even a warning reflector was placed on the road; this situation endangered the lives of the passengers, the mechanic who came for the repair, and the vehicles passing by. We waited for about 3.5 hours while the vehicle was being repaired on the roadside. Despite repeatedly calling customer service and asking the driver to request a replacement vehicle, we were initially told that the bus would be repaired quickly and that sending a replacement vehicle would take longer. After hours passed, we were informed that a replacement vehicle would not be sent at all. I was unable to reach customer service myself, and the other passengers who managed to connect did not receive any solution either. Because of this delay, I missed my transfer bus in Ankara and had to purchase another ticket. In total, I spent ₺1,999 with my credit card. I request a refund of both my Kamil Koç ticket and the additional tickets I had to buy for the transfer.
As of today, I was supposed to receive a payment of 1999 TL, but instead, a payment of 390 TL was made, which does not cover my losses at all. When we told the attendant that our tickets were forfeited, he clearly stated that our tickets would not be forfeited and that I would be refunded. However, this amount only covers the Kamil Koç ticket I purchased; I am requesting the refund for the tickets I missed.
