I purchased Finish Ultimate Plus dishwasher tablets from Migros approximately one week ago, and since I started using them, many items in my kitchen have developed a strong and persistent dishwasher tablet odor. The problem is especially noticeable with my Teflon-coated pots and pans. When I cook rice or eggs in them, the smell and taste of dishwasher detergent is so intense that it feels as if the tablet itself has somehow gotten into the food.

The same strong odor is also noticeable on my silicone spoons, silicone containers, and Tupperware food storage containers. Even when I simply put fruit inside one of the storage containers, opening it later releases such a heavy detergent smell that it feels as if the food has absorbed the dishwasher tablet odor.

This problem has occurred after every wash cycle since the very first time I used the product, and it has not improved at all. I never experienced anything like this when using other dishwasher detergent brands, which is why I believe the issue is directly related to the Finish Ultimate Plus tablets. At this point, I am concerned about whether it is safe to continue using my kitchenware, and I can no longer enjoy the meals I prepare because of the persistent chemical smell and taste.

I request a refund for the Finish Ultimate Plus dishwasher tablets I purchased. I also want a clear and detailed explanation of how I can remove this odor from my cookware, silicone products, and food storage containers, and whether these items can still be used safely.

I would also like Finish to explain why these tablets are leaving such a strong odor behind and whether this could pose any health risk. If necessary, I request a technical inspection of both the product and my dishwasher so that the cause of the problem can be properly identified.
