I Can’t Get the Chemical Smell of Finish Machine Cleaner Out of My Dishwasher

I used the Finish machine cleaner in my dishwasher, and I’ve regretted it ever since. The chemical odor it left behind is overwhelming and refuses to go away, no matter what I do. I’ve run the dishwasher empty multiple times, but even after two weeks, the harsh smell is still there.

Now, every time I do a load of dishes, I’m left wondering if there are chemical residues left behind on plates and glasses. I’m genuinely worried about my family’s health. I used this product to clean my machine—not to turn it into a source of contamination.
