N&D Tropical Selection Dog Food Caused Vomiting and Diarrhea After Feeding

On March 11, 2026, I purchased N&D Tropical Selection Lamb and Tropical Fruit Medium and Large Breed Adult Dog Food through Evinemama.com. Since we have trusted and used the same brand’s products for years, I opened the new package on April 2, 2026, and started feeding it to my dog with confidence. However, by the morning of Sunday, April 5, 2026, my dog developed stomach cramps, vomiting, increased intestinal activity, and severe diarrhea.

Because we had been using this food brand regularly, we initially did not think the problem was related to the food. We took our dog to Axis Veterinary Clinic in Göztepe, Kadıköy, Istanbul, where examinations did not identify any other health issue unrelated to the food. Following our veterinarian’s recommendation, we changed the food, and all symptoms completely disappeared. Approximately one month later, to confirm the cause, we tried the same N&D food again, and the same symptoms returned. At that point, we became certain that the issue was caused by the food.

I purchased the product through Evinemama.com under order number ts1103501349. The product expiration date is 05/23/2027, and the lot number is 25327P1781. Although it is not possible to fully compensate for the health problems my dog experienced and the stress and hardship we went through during this process, I request a refund of the $247 in veterinary expenses and the $88 purchase price of the food that I had to pay due to this food-related health issue.

In addition, I believe that an official statement should be made regarding the relevant lot and product so that other Farmina N&D customers who may be experiencing similar issues can be informed and necessary precautions can be taken. I request that the product be investigated, that this matter be handled seriously, and that I receive a clear written response regarding the outcome of the review.
