I Have Made A Wrong Transaction From My Fampay Account

7

My name is S*** M***, and I am a FamPay user. On July 12, 2026, I accidentally made an incorrect UPI payment of ₹200 from my FamPay account. I was trying to send money by scanning the intended recipient's QR code, but another QR code scanner was saved on my phone, and I mistakenly scanned that QR code instead. As a result, the payment was sent to the wrong recipient. The transaction appears in my FamPay account as a payment of ₹199.99 to S*** K*** with Transaction ID FMPIB6144745700. As soon as I realized the mistake, I called the FamPay customer support helpline, but my call was never answered, and I only heard hold music without being connected to a representative. Consequently, I was unable to receive any assistance or guidance. I have retained a screenshot of the transaction as proof, clearly showing the payment details and the transaction date of July 12, 2026. I kindly request that FamPay urgently investigate this mistaken transaction and assist me in recovering the ₹200 that was accidentally sent to the wrong account due to the QR code error. I would also appreciate clear guidance on the official process and any additional steps I need to take to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
