FamPay UPI Scam: ₹500 Wrong Transfer and Refund Request

I used the FamPay app to make a UPI transfer and by mistake I sent money to the wrong person. On 7 September 2026 I sent a total of ₹500 to the UPI/account number 625048876***. In addition, this same person, who is a scammer, has already managed to take ₹1300 in total, which I only realised afterwards when checking my transactions. One of the confirmed transactions visible in my FamPay app is a ₹300 payment to Gaurav P*** on 07 September 2026 with transaction ID 01a07c92-616b-79bf-a72a4-32e0325a1549. My registered mobile number on FamPay is 9380237***. I have tried to resolve this issue but I have not received any response so far. I am very worried about my money and the possibility that this account may also be cheating other users. I request that FamPay urgently investigate these transactions, block or flag the scammer’s account if necessary, and help me recover or reverse the amounts that were sent by mistake as much as possible. I also ask to be informed in writing about the result of this investigation and the steps taken.
