Fraudulent Epic Games Store Charge of $20 on My Card
On May 31, 2026, I noticed a charge of approximately $20 on my debit card with the description "EPC*Epic Games Store 919-854-0070 CH." I have no connection to Epic Games whatsoever — I do not know this company and I have no membership or account with them. This transaction absolutely does not belong to me. On the same day, an attempt was also made on another one of my cards, but since I did not approve it, that one did not go through.
After noticing this suspicious transaction, I had my card canceled and will also be visiting my bank branch in person. I am requesting that Epic Games urgently cancel this unauthorized charge and refund the full $20 to my account. I also ask that a detailed investigation be conducted into how my card information was used and through which account, and that a written explanation be provided to me.
I would like to make clear that if this matter is not resolved, I will pursue all available legal remedies and file complaints with the relevant authorities.
