Enterprise Charged Me Extra for Smoking Despite No Damage or Burn in the Car

Enterprise Charged Me Extra for Smoking Despite No Damage or Burn in the Car

I rented a car from Enterprise Rent a Car in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I’m shocked by how I was treated. Although there is no law in the country banning smoking inside rental cars, and there was absolutely no damage or burn marks in the vehicle, I was still charged over ₺12,000 for allegedly violating their internal policy.

This charge was completely arbitrary. Enterprise has essentially decided to impose its own rules above national law, and they’re clearly using this tactic to exploit customers. I believe they’re doing this to many unsuspecting renters, making unjust profits from a made-up policy that isn’t even communicated transparently during the booking process.

Enterprise, this is outright abuse. I demand a full refund of the unjust charge and a formal explanation of how you're allowed to operate this way in a country where your supposed "policy violation" isn’t even a legal offense. Stop scamming customers through fabricated rules and hidden fees. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company unless they want to risk being overcharged for no valid reason.
