Electrolux Failed To Register My Dryer For The 10-Year Motor Warranty

After purchasing the Electrolux EW7D285UT dryer on 04/28/2026, I attempted to register the appliance through the “Register Your Device” section on Electrolux’s official website in order to benefit from the 10-year motor warranty. I entered my invoice information and the product serial number as requested during the registration process.

Although the system displayed a message stating, “We will send you a confirmation email within 10 minutes,” I never received any confirmation email from Electrolux.

Because of this, on 05/04/2026, I called customer service to ask whether my appliance had been successfully registered in the system. The representative I spoke with said they could not see the registration on their screen, but that they would create a new registration request on my behalf and forward the matter to the central department for review. I was also told that I would receive a response by both phone and email. Despite this assurance, I never received any follow-up communication.

On 05/08/2026, I called customer service again and explained that I had still not received any response and that my dryer still did not appear to be registered. During this second conversation, I was once again told that an urgent support request had been created and that I would be contacted shortly. However, once again, no one contacted me in any way.

As of today, 05/12/2026, it has been exactly 14 days since I first tried to register my appliance, and the process is still incomplete. I still have not received any clear or concrete response from Electrolux customer support.

I genuinely respected and trusted the Electrolux brand before this experience. However, the lack of communication, follow-up, and customer support I have encountered has left me both shocked and seriously disappointed.

I request that my Electrolux dryer be properly registered in the system immediately so that I can benefit from the promised 10-year motor warranty. I also request a clear and written confirmation from Electrolux regarding the successful completion of the registration process.
