eDreams Prime Unauthorized Charge - Refund Request
I recently discovered that eDreams/eDreams Prime attempted to take €99.99 from my Bank of Ireland Visa debit card without my permission. I had already bought and fully paid for my flight ticket to Turkey last month with no problem, and I did not knowingly sign up for any Prime membership or any other paid subscription. This Tuesday, as soon as money entered my account, a charge of €99.99 from eDreams/eDreams Prime appeared as “in progress.” I was never clearly informed that such an amount would be taken, and I did not consent to this payment. I consider this an unauthorized charge made for no valid reason. I contacted my bank, Bank of Ireland, and they told me I have to wait until the full process is completed before they can do something. In addition, I tried to reach eDreams customer service by calling the phone numbers listed for Spain/England, but nobody answered and I could not reach any real support. Despite all this, the €99.99 has already been taken or blocked from my account without my approval, which is causing me serious concern. I request a full refund of the €99.99 that has been taken without my consent, and I want any eDreams Prime or similar membership that may have been created on my account to be cancelled. I also ask for written confirmation that no future charges will be made to my card or account for any Prime or subscription services. I expect this issue to be resolved quickly and my money to be returned, as I never agreed to pay this amount and only intended to purchase my flight ticket, which I already paid in full.
