eDreams Prime Plus Subscription Complaint After Flight Booking
I booked a Qatar Airways flight from Manchester for 25 February 2025 through eDreams and later discovered that £100 had been taken from my credit card for a “Prime Plus” service that I did not request, agree to, or use. There was no clear warning or explicit consent from me for this extra service, and I only realised what had happened when the £100 charge appeared on my account. I contacted eDreams about this unauthorised Prime Plus charge, but they refused to refund the amount and showed no real willingness to resolve the issue. I consider this practice misleading and unfair, as customers can very easily end up paying for an additional service they neither knowingly selected nor benefited from. With this complaint, I want to warn potential customers about these charges and the way they are added, and I request that the relevant authorities thoroughly investigate and, if appropriate, take action against such practices. I also expect eDreams to review this case again, return the £100 taken for Prime Plus that I never asked for, and ensure that no further charges are applied to my card without my clear and informed consent.
