My Dyson V8 Vacuum’s Bin Latch Broke and It Now Stutters in High Mode

I purchased a Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner and my wife was initially thrilled with it. However, after just a few uses, the latch on the dustbin broke. Despite our best efforts to clean and maintain the device properly, it has now started malfunctioning—especially in high-power mode, where it works intermittently and cuts off.
To make matters worse, we don’t have access to proper Dyson service where we live, so we’re stuck with a broken device and no real support. I was considering buying a newer Dyson model, but after this experience, I’m no longer confident in the product’s long-term durability.
I’m asking Dyson to take responsibility for the latch defect and performance issue. Please provide a solution or replacement part before more customers are left disappointed. A premium product should come with premium support.
