Dyson V15 Warranty Service Refusal After Suction Power Loss

I purchased the Dyson V15 Absolute rechargeable vacuum cleaner on 08.07.2023. On 08.05.2024, I contacted the call center to report a decrease in the vacuum cleaner's suction power and a warning light. I requested to schedule a technical service appointment to diagnose the issue. However, they insisted on a video call with their technical team, threatening to redirect me to a service center otherwise. During the 50-minute video call, they had me perform various tasks but failed to provide any technical assistance. It is unreasonable for a brand to demand a video call, especially when it concerns a device under warranty. This violates consumer rights. I refuse to spend my time on unnecessary video calls. Additionally, the call center employees were unable to provide the required MERSIS number, showing a lack of professionalism. I will not purchase any Dyson products again and will discourage others from doing so due to this disappointing experience.

I will apply to the Ministry of Information Technologies and Trade for violating the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law) during the video call. I will complain to the Ministry of Trade because they make video calls mandatory to provide technical service, which they do not fulfill the warranty conditions for. I will also complain in the same way because the call center employees do not provide the company's MERSIS number despite being obliged to do so and despite my request. At the same time, I will expose all these service absurdities on all social media platforms. I will make it very clear that they cannot fulfill these service obligations in Turkey. I will personally convey all my complaints to Dyson's headquarters in the UK, both in writing and verbally.

In my life, I have never come across a company like this. They don't even share their MERSIS number, which is a legal requirement. When I asked the call center employee for the MERSIS number and KEP address, they said, "What is that? I've never heard of it." When I contacted them through their social media (Instagram) accounts, they said, "We cannot share our private information here." Since when did the KEP address and MERSIS number become private information? How does this company operate, how do they get permission from the Ministry of Customs and Trade, and how can they carry out such illegal activities? It is hard to understand.

I'm sharing this to help consumers who are experiencing the same problem as me. Don't listen to the lies about "no stock." All the procedures they implement are to wear you down and discourage you because many products in the V15 series are defective. Don't ever listen to the lies about "no stock, it will be updated soon." I requested their MERSIS numbers and KEP addresses from Dyson through all communication channels, but they didn't provide them. They gave a ridiculous response like "We can't share our private information." I found their KEP addresses and on Saturday, 01.06.2024, at 13:10, I sent them a notice via their KEP address. They haven't responded to my KEP notice yet, but on the same day, 01.06.2024, at 19:04, they issued the invoice for my replacement device and sent me an SMS and email at 22:04 stating it had been shipped. If you seek your rights properly, they are compelled to provide a quick solution. This Dyson is a complete fraud, to put it mildly, they are scammers.

Dyson is completely and absolutely a scam, just so you know. Do not buy products from this brand at all. When selling, they all praise and explain the product and show interest, but if the machine breaks down, they do nothing but talk nonsense like an automated response system.
