Dyson V15 Detect Absolute Defective on Arrival

On October 2, 2025, I purchased the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute vacuum cleaner through Trendyol, sold by Media Markt. On the day I received it, the device would work intermittently — the power kept cutting out, the light flickered, and eventually it stopped working altogether. I immediately contacted Dyson customer service the same day and sent the product in for service. Dyson issued a refund report, citing a power failure, but I clearly stated that I did not want a refund — I wanted a brand-new replacement unit instead. Despite that, a refund report was issued, and I was instructed to send it to Trendyol.

I sent the report to Trendyol on October 15, 2025, and since then — 28 days later — I have received no resolution. Even after contacting customer service multiple times, I am repeatedly told to “keep waiting.” The current price of the same product is now much higher, and it is no longer in stock at Media Markt. This was meant to be a gift, and I have been completely let down by the experience. I feel like I’ve paid a significant amount of money only to be left without a functioning product or any clear communication.

My order number is tj02025003882284, my service receipt number is nk446986-01, and I paid approximately $643 via credit card. The product is currently being held at Dyson service.

I am not requesting a refund — I am demanding that the product be replaced with a new Dyson V15 Detect Absolute. I ask that this issue be resolved immediately and that my consumer rights be respected.
