Dyson V15 Keeps Shutting Off Every 30 Seconds – Known Defect Complaint
About one year after purchasing my Dyson V15 vacuum, I started experiencing an issue where the device would shut off on its own while in use. At first, this happened occasionally, but now it occurs almost every 25–30 seconds, and the device’s memory resets each time, making it impossible to use the product properly.
Even though the warranty period has expired, I contacted Dyson customer service and an authorized service center. I was told that the battery and filter needed to be replaced. However, I tested my device using the battery and filter from my neighbor’s Dyson V15, and the same issue persisted. This clearly shows that the problem is not caused by the battery or the filter.
After researching the issue, I found that there are many similar complaints on Şikayetvar, indicating that this is a widespread, chronic problem. Therefore, I do not consider this to be user error or a simple part replacement issue.
I request that Dyson resolve this chronic defect by providing a free repair for my device or replacing it with an equivalent product. I expect my issue to be resolved as soon as possible, taking into account the known and widespread nature of this defect.
