I Used Dove Pink Soap and My Face Broke Out in Pimples Within Hours

I recently bought Dove Pink Beauty Bar, thinking it would be gentle and nourishing for my skin like advertised. I used it to wash my face once—and that was a huge mistake. Before using the soap, my skin was completely clear with no signs of irritation or acne. However, just a few hours after using it, I noticed breakouts appearing all over my face. Almost every area of my skin was affected with sudden, painful pimples.

I’ve never had such a reaction to any soap or skincare product before, and I was shocked by how quickly this happened. I bought Dove trusting their reputation for quality and skin-friendly products, but this experience left me extremely disappointed and worried.

I want to know what ingredients in Dove Pink could trigger such an aggressive skin reaction, and more importantly, what I’m supposed to do now. There was no warning on the packaging about potential skin reactions or acne flare-ups. This product clearly does not suit all skin types, and Dove needs to take responsibility for that.

I’m asking Dove to investigate this issue seriously, provide a proper explanation, and guide me on how to treat the breakout caused by their product. I also urge them to be more transparent in their labeling. This kind of reaction should never happen to anyone using a product meant for “sensitive” skin.
