I forgot my password or lost two-factor authentication. How can I restore access to my Discord account?

If you forgot your password or lost access to two-factor authentication (2FA), the recovery steps depend on what exactly is lost:

1. Only the password is forgotten:

Go to https://discord.com/login

Click “Forgot your password?”

Enter your email and follow the instructions in the message you receive.

2. 2FA (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) is lost:

If you have a backup code (saved when you set up 2FA), use it.

If there is no backup code, submit a request to support:
https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Provide your email, account creation date, recent changes, and possibly screenshots.
